Newton
Minow served as chairman of the Federal Communications
Commission under President Kennedy, co-chaired the presidential
debates for the League of Women Voters, currently serves on
the Commission on Presidential Debates, and has written frequently
on the role of communications in politics. He has also served
as chairman of PBS, the Rand Corporation, and the Carnegie
Corporation of New York. Currently, Mr. Minow serves as counsel
