On August 22, 2009 in Chicago, the US Postal Service, the MBC and The Nielsen Company teamed up to recognize the launch of a new set of 20 stamps commemorating classic TV shows.
The new stamps feature the first situation comedies, crime dramas and game shows that delighted and thrilled audiences with fantastic images from places far away - of real people, just like them. Today, memories from television's "childhood" - often especially vivid - are a pure pleasure. In addition to showcasing the new 20-stamp set, a "Hard-Hat" tour of the new 62,000-sq.ft. Museum of Broadcast Communications was also available.
Check out all of the new stamps in the 20-stamp set below - and click on each one to watch a classic episode of that show from the MBC Archives!
